a down-dog { II }

I am delighted to invite you to a family practice made from my heart for yours.

During this practice, which is based on the yogic philosophy and teachings, we will explore the world of a down-dog, or any dog. How is it, really, to be a down-dog, or a dog in general. And really, how is it to “be”?

The yoga posture “Adho Mukha Svanasana”, commonly known as Downward-facing Dog, is probably one of the most famous yoga postures in the West. Probably in the world, also, but who can be certain about it? During this family practice, we will explore the body, the senses, the feelings and nature through the shapes taken by the body of a dog. We will run and play and stay and listen and smell and welter, just like a dog. We will look at dogs, we will see them different, and we will place our body in the shapes they take. We will know and feel and understand and connect.

And all this we will do, children and parents/caregivers, together!

This family practice will be held in greek. The same practice is offered on two different dates for different age groups:

Saturday, 30 November, 17:15-18:30 (children 3-6 years old)

Saturday, December 7, 10:15-11:30 (children from 6 years old)

Participation Conditions

The practice is suitable for children above 6 years old that wish and want to practice yoga and be with their parent/caregiver.

The practice is suitable for caregivers between 18-99 years old that wish and want to practice yoga and be with their/the child.

Each child should participate with one parent/caregiver.

Each parent/caregiver should participate with one child.

Both the child and the parent/caregiver should understand Greek.

Contribution/Cost

The contribution of one child and one adult to the practice is €25.

Registration and Cancellation Policy

To participate, registration is required. To register, please contact the organiser. Spots are reserved once the organiser confirms the prepayment of the contribution. In case of cancellation until 24hours prior to the practice, the full amount is returned. In case of cancellation withing 24hours from the start of the practice, the amount is paid as normal. In case of cancellation on behalf of the teacher for any reason, the full amount is returned.
