Yoga As Medicine {private practice}

Yoga offers many tools. Their regular practice can do wonders supporting not only the physical posture or other physical aspects but also mental health. It can supplement the treatment of various physical or mental issues, and emotionally support the person in the process. This is a therapeutic yoga practice for an individual, tailored to the person’s needs and ryhthm. It may include asana (physical movement and postures, breathwork and meditation.

Hatha Yoga {private practice}

This is a practice for individuals. Depending person’s needs, the practice may include hatha yoga and breathwork, hatha vinyasa practice to balance the nervous system and battle anxiety, accessible yoga (for different bodies, ages, and abilities).

Hatha Yoga {private group practice}

Practice with friends or relatives at a time of your convenience. This offering refers to groups of 2-5 people that wish to practice yoga together at a certain time. Depending on the needs of the group, the practices may include hatha yoga and breathwork practices, hatha vinyasa practices to balance the nervous system and battle anxiety, accessible yoga (for different bodies, ages, and abilities), or partner yoga to inspire a playful connection within the group and enhance the relationships.

Octavia E. Butler, Parable of the Sower

My name is Louiza or Emel (ML). I was born and raised in Athens, Greece with origins from Crete and Trieste, Italy. I have lived in the Netherlands and in Switzerland, and since 2021 I live in Athens with my family. 

My main interests include yoga as a way of conscious living, mental health, parenthood and child-centric pedagogy. I enjoy writing and painting, as well as playing and dancing with my kids. I enjoy my daily yoga practice, and the time I spend on my favorite island, and I enjoy waking up early in the morning to hear the sounds of nature as she wakes up. 

Professionally, I have engaged with the editing and production of contemporary art publications, managing and writing marketing communications content, and the organization and support of positive communication in professional environments. I currently offer yoga practices for the body and the mind, to enhance connection in a playfully mindful way. I also organize and offer experiences for wellness, positive communication and connection.

My starting point has always been the sincere understanding of the self and the world around her, as well as of all the relationships built in the process. Unity and unconditional love, as well as communication, understanding, acceptance and collaboration remain my guides and ultimate goals at the same time.

My tools include yoga practice, meditation and mindfulness, play, arts and writing. 

My promise and most sincere wish, is to always try to see the light in every soul, including mine.
